12,5000 joined the Born in Bradford(BiB) research study between 2007-2011. As all the children will now be in school they are looking for families to join the BiB growing up project. They will be getting in touch with any families previously involved to help with the project. On Friday 11th August Bolling Hall is hosting a free family craft session. Children can make origami flowers and ghosts and have a go at sugar mice modelling. The session is from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
The producer of the BBC series ‘Eat well for less?’ has contacted school to see if any families are interested in taking part in the next series.
They are looking for ‘fun and lively families’ who would like to save some money on their weekly shop and eat more healthily.
The show follows Masterchef’s Gregg Wallace & award winning greengrocer Chris Bavin on a mission to prove that it is possible for families to save money on their food budget without scrimping on taste and nutrition. They hope that by analysing the shopping habits of UK families, they can help to show where we can source the best and cheapest quality food.

Safety first is enrolling for new students to attend the English classes that is held in the Community Room at the New Cross site on Thursday mornings. The classes are from 9:15 – 11:15 every Thursday. Enrollement for the classes is taking place this Thursday 22nd June and next Thursday 29th June between 9:15 and 9:45. If you know anyone who is interested please feel free to get them to come along.

I’m sure we will have many families who could take part in this competition and we hope that you will consider taking part.
We have been very lucky to have been allocated a small amount of extra tickets for the bedtime stories event at the Science and National Media Museum on Tuesday 23d May 3:30pm- 6:00pm. Letters will be sent home tomorrow (Thursday) so if you would like to come down please complete and return the slip back as soon as possible. There is no more space on the bus, you will have to make your own way there, but it will be well worth the visit!
