We have been very lucky to have been allocated a small amount of extra tickets for the bedtime stories event at the Science and National Media Museum on Tuesday 23d May 3:30pm- 6:00pm. Letters will be sent home tomorrow (Thursday) so if you would like to come down please complete and return the slip back as soon as possible. There is no more space on the bus, you will have to make your own way there, but it will be well worth the visit!
Thank you to all the families who have returned the forms for the Bedtime stories event. The tickets, which entitle you to a goody bag, have now all gone and the coach is full. Tickets will be sent out with your child next week so please keep a look out for them in book bags.
This week we sent out letters about the Bedtime stories event which will be held at the Science and Media Museum on Tuesday 23rd May 3:30pm – 6:00pm and have had a great response from families.
We only have a small number of tickets left, which cost just £1.00 per family, which will entitle you to a fantastic goody bag! If you require the free bus to get there and back we only have 20 seats left so please bring those reply slips back on Tuesday when school opens again after the bank holiday on Monday.
I hope you all had a fantastic 2 weeks holiday and you managed to have some quality family time. Thank you to all the Year 1 families that took part in the Easter reading challenge, did you manage to read all your books?
Year 3 parents keep a look out for a maths session coming up in the next couple of weeks. Mrs Gill will be running a session to give you some tips on how to help your child improve their maths skills. There will be some free resources to help you too. Year 5 will be going on their residential to Whitby soon too, so if you are unsure about what they need to take or have any general questions about the trip please feel free to call in for a chat with their teacher. Also Year 6 will be taking their SATs, so again if you have any questions about these please call in for a chat.
If you have any other questions please contact me at school on 01274 770270 or call in to the office.
