Do you want ideas of what to do at Half Term?

On Saturday 25th October in City Park there is a free science fair on from 11am to 4pm, why not go along and enjoy fascinating science workshops, inspirational demonstrations and interactive activities for the whole family. All week there are plenty of free activities going on at the National Media Museum around Horrible Histories. Why not pop along to City Library in City Park on Tuesday 28th October 10am-12 noon. Bradford Family Learning Festival is running a free session where you can be part of creating a ‘library reading rug’.
Take a look at the website for more information: http://www.visitbradford.com/thedms.aspx?dms=12&f=Bradford+%26+District+Half+Term
A really great place to visit is the POP UP PLAY SHOP in Market Street, there are lots of free activities on offer over half term. Look out for the leaflet from school or go to the website: www.bcep.org.uk and search scrap magic

If you keep looking on the blog class teachers will be putting some ideas of things to do in the holidays to keep your children busy. Look out for the new Family Learning Letters too, they will let you know what the next topic is that your child will be working on and ideas of things to do. Encourage your child to do some reading in the holidays, go on a walk to the local park and look at the changes happening. Your child could write about or draw a picture about what they notice. How about keeping a diary of what they do each day, they could add it to the blog. Practice times tables is another good activity to do and you can do that wherever you are.
